Job Summary:

The job location for this position is hybrid, with up to 25% travel required. Candidates can be based out of any city within the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of power generation products and the ability to interface effectively with contractors, consulting engineers, and vendors. They should be well-versed in relevant codes, technical documentation, and possess strong research capabilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. The candidate must have strong organizational and planning skills, capable of multi-tasking on a variety of complex tasks. They should be adept at managing databases and reporting mechanisms for project milestones, and be data and process-oriented. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with Sales, Production, Purchasing, Project Administration, Engineering, and Service Teams is crucial. A good understanding of project financials is required, along with the ability to quickly build rapport with external stakeholders, including clients and trade partners. The ability to review and understand design submittals is preferred, as is previous experience in a new construction setting.

 

In this role you will make an imact in the following ways:

  • Lead multiple projects from inception to completion.
  • Facilitate project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine scope and objectives.
  • Work with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals.
  • Design project plans, develop timelines, identify milestones, and track performance against goals and timelines.
  • Identify, track, and resolve project issues in collaboration with team members.
  • Monitor and communicate project status to the project team.
  • Plan and monitor project budgets, conduct research and analysis, and provide input into project plans and timelines.
  • Manage project risks using quality tools to identify areas of risk and work with the team to find solutions.
  • Document and share team learnings with other teams to enhance project success.
  • Maintain project notes, databases, and other records.
  • Monitor measures and communicate with the Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on the status of specific projects and assignments.
  • Identify and assign appropriate resources to accomplish project tasks.
  • Guide and coach team members through various stages of the project.
  • Provide developmental feedback to team members.

Project Issue and Risk Management: Leads the process of identifying, assessing, and prioritizing project issues and risks using recommended tools and methodologies. Proactively drives actions to mitigate, monitor, and control risks and issues, aiming to maximize positive outcomes and minimize negative impacts.
