A Sales Incentive Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting a company's sales team by managing and administering various sales incentive programs. Their primary responsibility is to participate in design of incentive plans and SPIFs, and to implement, and maintain incentive programs that motivate sales representatives and drive revenue growth.

Job Title: Sales Incentive Administrator

Job Summary: The Sales Incentive Administrator is responsible for managing, and administering sales incentive programs to motivate and reward the sales team for achieving targets and objectives! They will work closely with the Sales, Finance and Payroll teams to ensure that incentive programs are effective in driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze sales performance data to determine program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions for program improvements.
  2. Communication: Clearly communicate program details, rules, and expectations to the sales team, ensuring they understand the incentive structure.
  3. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of incentive program rules, terms, and documentation.
  4. Eligibility Management: Ensure that sales representatives meet the eligibility criteria to participate in incentive programs and address any eligibility concerns.
  5. Calculations: Accurately calculate and validate incentive payments based on predefined criteria, such as quotas, commissions, bonuses, and other performance metrics.
  6. Reporting: Generate regular reports and summaries of incentive program results, performance, and payouts for management and team members.
  7. Compliance: Ensure that incentive programs follow legal and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies.
  8. Feedback and Improvement: Collaborate with the sales team to gather feedback on incentive programs and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  9. Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve disputes and inquiries related to incentive calculations or program rules.
  10. Technology Utilization: Use software and tools, including CRM and incentive management software, to automate and streamline the administration of incentive programs.
  11. Training and Support: Provide training and support to sales representatives to help them understand the incentive program and maximize their earnings.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, or a related field.
  2. Previous experience in sales incentive administration or a similar role.
  3. Strong analytical and data management skills.
  4. Proficiency in using CRM, Excel and incentive management software.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy in incentive calculations.
  7. Knowledge of sales processes and incentive standard methodologies.
  8. Understanding of legal and compliance regulations related to sales incentives.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  11. Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • This job may require travel domestically and/or internationally, 
  • This is a full-time, exempt opportunity. 
  • Relocation will not be considered for this position.

The salary range for this position is $52,600-$97,800. This position is also eligible for a bonus as part of the compensation package.

 

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
