General Purpose of Job:

To provide general clerical, equipment, and patient care support to patient care units.

Education and/or Experience:

• Certified Nurse Aide
• Patient Care Technician School
• EMT-Basic or other relevant health care training program.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSURE, REGISTRATION:

• American Heart Association – Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained prior to hire and maintained continuously thereafter.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) within 6 months of hire and maintained continuously thereafter.  
• Training or experience to perform EKG and/or Phlebotomy.
• Must obtain Phlebotomy Certification within 6 months of hire.
