Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for material transfers (receipt of stock, warehouse storage, stock disbursement), fill job pick lists, and inventory cycle counting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for material transfers, including receipt of stock, warehouse storage, and stock disbursements
• Accurate filling of job and sales order pick lists and delivery of parts to production and/or shipping
• Assist Inventory Control Clerk as needed with daily cycle counts of inventory in the warehouse
• Assist in all warehouse functions, including but not limited to stocking shelves, packing boxes, loading and/or unloading trailers, shipping finished goods, and pulling stock for manufacturing
• Use all safety devices/tools to ensure safe operation
• Manage and perform daily cycle counts within Oracle Fusion
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions for production work orders
• Monitor and control inventory integrity
• Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
• Operate forklift truck when necessary
• All other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, operations personnel, and all coworkers
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures
• Proficient keyboarding skills
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Must be detail-oriented
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to solve complex problems

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or technical school diploma or equivalent in relevant work experience required
• 1 year related experience using computerized inventory systems preferred
• Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment preferred
• Must have valid driver license and be willing to travel to local offsite warehouse
