Minimum Qualifications 

• 3 years of experience in a live production environment   
• Proficient knowledge of audio visual (AV) subject matter    
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite   ​
• Proficiency in Keynote   

Preferred Qualifications 

• 4 years of experience in a live production environment   
• Bachelor’s degree in audio production, music production, broadcast & digital journalism, broadcast communications or a related field     
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.   

Job Summary   

As an Audio Visual Event Technician III , you'll provide and operate needed equipment for the organization’s events, maintain all audio visual gear and keep specialized equipment organized.    
  

Responsibilities   

• Work with producers and directors on the design, installation and positioning of sets and props  
• Set up and operate equipment to enhance effects of sound, lighting and video displays at live events     
• Organize floor plans and facilitate communication between given parties     
• Test and resolve complex technical issues   
• Technically direct all levels of events with event managers and the business to develop the entire live and/or streamed event   
• Coordinate audio with lighting and visual displays   
• Mentor, coach and check the work of AV technicians   
• Administer all technical planning and set logistics   
• Edit audio/video clips    
• Archive and organize show footage   
• Design lighting and video scenic looks on show location    
• Meet with clients prior to events to proactively understand the client’s needs and provide suggestions for media alternatives     
• Install and maintain a variety of AV equipment
