Truck Spotting / Sanitation of Trucks and Trailers

Scope / Overview:

• The ability to move trucks and trucks/trailer combination vehicles to facilitate putting backhauls / returns into the door, unloading pallets and milk crates, breaking down center divides and bulkheads to accomplish getting box trucks and trailers cleaned, fueled, and spotted for reloading.  To set up our equipment and drivers for successful delivery of products to our customers.

Training: Safety, GHS, proper use of chemicals per manufacturer’s recommendations.  SOPs, SSOPs, DOT requirements, ELD usage, etc.  As required.

Responsibilities and Duties Assigned:

• Ability to follow rules and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices to accomplish the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas in manner to achieve the expected goals
• Using chemicals in accordance with manufacturer approved guidelines.

• Cleanliness and Sanitation of Inside Trailers / Box is Priority
  • This will be accomplished twice weekly for each piece of equipment
  • Using Hot water for interior cleaning of the trailer when possible
  • Using Soap and Sanitizer in the proper concentrations
  • Following Proper Documentation – This principle applies to everything
    • You will enter the full equipment ID# for tracking purposes – FDA audits
    • Enter your user ID / clock in number
• Next Glass and Headlights
• Then Graphics and Logos of the Trailers and Boxes – This includes the back door.
• Exterior of the Trucks 
• tires and wheels
  • 1x weekly
• General Cleaning of the Interior of Cab – Drivers should be keeping cabs trash free and tidy.  If this is not happening, it needs to be reported.
  • 1x weekly
• Continuous Improvement of the cleaning process
• Daily Cleanliness and Sanitation of the truck washroom
