About the role
Meta is seeking a Finance Associate to join our Energy Finance & Business Planning (FBP) team. The FBP team's mission is to enable Meta to plan, prioritize, and execute as effectively as possible by providing an independent and objective perspective on data-driven decisions, always advocating for intellectual honesty.
As a Finance Associate, you will support the Data Center Energy team, which designs, builds, and operates Meta's global data center infrastructure footprint. This role offers wide exposure to leaders across both the Data Center and Finance organizations, providing opportunities to contribute to well-informed business decisions.Finance Associate, Infrastructure Energy Responsibilities

As a Finance Associate, you will support the Data Center Energy team, which designs, builds, and operates Meta's global data center infrastructure footprint. - Support FP&A activities for the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for Capital expenditures, Operating expenses, and headcount
- Drive month-end reporting and create variance commentaries to analyze actual financial performance versus budgets and forecasts
- Develop and maintain total cost of ownership models for data centers and related cost drivers
- Perform analyses to provide ad hoc decision support, such as evaluating build vs lease options, identifying efficiency improvements, and more
- 4+ years of experience in FP&A, business strategy, or analytics
- BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
- Understanding of infrastructure, semiconductor, telecom, and/or related markets
- Proficient in excel and experience analyzing large amounts of data and translate it into actionable insights
- Experience building cross-functional relationships and partnering with executives across organizations
- Proven communication skills to tailor messaging for broad audiences, including those with varying levels and technical expertise
- Familiarity of Infrastructure and/or Energy
- MBA in Finance, CFA and CPA
$92,000/year to $135,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
