Principal Program Lead, National Accounts

Overview
This role is responsible for helping integrate Design needs with our National Account partners as it relates to the sourcing and managing of building materials and finishes incorporated into Chick-fil-A Restaurants. This role provides support to new construction, reinvestments, rollouts and the day-to-day needs of our business. This individual will serve as the primary interface between internal staff and our suppliers. This role will execute work in assigned categories to support Chick-fil-A’s ongoing innovation associated with the Accelerating New Restaurant Growth, change in Existing Restaurants and the development of Restaurant Ecosystems. They will research and assist in developing primary and secondary supply chains as it applies to the evolving global supply of products for Chick-fil-A Restaurants in North America. This role will be responsible for developing data analysis and communications tools needed by the entire National Accounts team to manage supplier performance and use influence on the strategic direction of National Account programs which may have broader impact across RD.

Responsibilities
- Serve as supplier’s primary contact to Chick-fil-A for their product or service
- Serve as a liaison from Design to Development & Construction, and Existing Restaurants (Strategic Reinvestment & FM) as it relates to building materials negotiated and sourced by Chick-fil-A
- Review drawing updates to identify new or changing material needs
- Lead strategic sourcing process for assigned categories, including clear requirement and service level definitions, contract negotiations, supplier selection and management of the commercial aspects of the supplier relationships
- Understand industry best practices and respond to changes in the internal and external business environment to secure best value from the supply base
- Apply knowledge of contractual terms and conditions to ensure appropriate risk mitigation is addressed in master agreements
- Document program terms and communicate requirements to construction teams and supply partners
- Lead, coordinate and deliver supplier performance appraisals and manage both performing and underperforming suppliers assigned to this role
- Track and report program improvements and financial benefits
- The ideal Principal Program Lead, National Accounts has a strong understanding of complex negotiations and holding parties accountable for performance across various organizational dimensions.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction or Finance
- 7+ years work experience in related field
- Experience in managing complex negotiations
- Strong financial analysis skills
