Position Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver high quality implementations of customer experiences to support business and technology strategies, based on business needs, and creative design. Provide architectural guidance and input around server environment configuration, clustering, caching, CDN usage, and security. Lead internal and external engineering teams to solve difficult problems aimed at making the Customer experience seamless. Champion best software engineering practices throughout all projects by promoting Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Test Automation and detailed documentation. Manage projects from initiation to launch through collaboration with external teams while serving as a hands-on developer. Utilize expert knowledge of Software Engineering best practices, Software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations to provide technical guidance to peer developers around best practices in AEM development in both back-end and front-end execution. Develop high-level design tailored to the requirements. Collaborate with development and other internal team members on project implementation, component development and launch activities, including stand-up meetings, defect resolution, and acceptance testing. Employ thorough knowledge of data structure, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures to guide Junior developers. Hire, train, and supervise engineering staff members.
Position Requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and eight (8) years of experience as a Staff Engineer (M), Software Process Engineering or related occupation in overall software development, which included: (1) Conceptualizing, designing, building and deploying Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions with Adobe AEM (Sites and Assets), Adobe Target and Adobe analytics applications; (2) Architecting and delivering full-lifecycle software projects; (3) Experience with event and message driven system design and architecture; (4) Experience with data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures; (5) Experience in delivering results in the area of writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code; (6) Managing applications in cloud; (7) Assisting in designing experimental test programs and frameworks to thoroughly evaluate functionality, design requirements, operational capacity, and customer performance expectations; (8) Experience in dealing with large amount of data in both structured and unstructured format databases, and designing Digital/Commerce solutions based on such data; and (9) At least 5 years of experience in technical leadership capacity.
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and ten (10) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Staff Engineer (M), Software Process Engineering or related occupation in overall software development, which included: (1) Conceptualizing, designing, building and deploying Adobe Marketing Cloud solutions with Adobe AEM (Sites and Assets), Adobe Target and Adobe analytics applications; (2) Architecting and delivering full-lifecycle software projects; (3) Experience with event and message driven system design and architecture; (4) Experience with data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, and asynchronous architectures; (5) Experience in delivering results in the area of writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code; (6) Managing applications in cloud; (7) Assisting in designing experimental test programs and frameworks to thoroughly evaluate functionality, design requirements, operational capacity, and customer performance expectations; (8) Experience in dealing with large amount of data in both structured and unstructured format databases, and designing Digital/Commerce solutions based on such data; and (9) At least 5 years of experience in technical leadership capacity.
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week. Salary: $237,500/year to $379,500/year
