To that end, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sr Director, Strategy & Enterprise Architecture to establish our applied architecture practice.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a pragmatic and results-oriented Enterprise Architecture and Technology Strategy Lead to establish and drive our applied architecture practice, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technology execution.

Reporting to the CIO and VP of IT Digital Technology, the Senior Director of Strategy and Enterprise Architecture lead will be responsible for leading the architecture function with a focus on delivering practical, applied solutions that meet the organization’s strategic goals. This role will oversee the development of a cohesive architectural framework, support solution/domain-specific architects, and ensure the efficient and effective delivery of IT initiatives. This leader will also define and drive the company’s technology strategy, ensuring it aligns with business priorities and positions the organization for long-term success.

This role can be located in Northridge (LA Metro-area), Minneapolis or Duluth (Atlanta Metro-area).

Key Responsibilities

Architecture and Technology Strategy: 

• Develop and implement an Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategy aligned with business priorities and IT objectives.

• Define and drive our technology strategy to ensure scalability, security, and innovation.

• Establish and maintain a technology roadmap that supports business and transformation.

Governance and Standards:

• Establish and ensure architecture standards, principles, and frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability.

• Ensure governance to oversee architecture decisions and technology investments.

Applied Architecture Delivery:

• Focus on actionable, real-world architectural solutions that address business challenges.

• Collaborate with solution and domain architects to ensure pragmatic and actionable EA.

• Advise on system integration, data flows, and technology stack decisions across the business.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Work closely with business leaders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into technical solutions.
