Job Purpose:

We are seeking a talented Azure DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Copado and Azure DevOps to support secure, automated software delivery pipelines. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD processes, managing infrastructure as code, and embedding security within the software development lifecycle. Ideal candidates will thrive in collaborative, Agile environments and have a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

CI/CD Pipeline Development & Management

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows to ensure reliability for mission-critical applications
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline software release processes
• Share best practices and mentor peers on DevOps tools and methodologies

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools
• Support hybrid cloud and edge environments typical in the utility sector
• Ensure infrastructure is scalable, secure, and compliant with industry regulations

Agile Process & Project Management

• Define and manage Agile work items (Epics, Features, Stories, Tasks) using Azure DevOps Boards
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Masters for sprint planning and backlog grooming
• Create customized workflows, dashboards, and performance tracking reports

Security & Compliance (DevSecOps)

• Integrate security protocols into CI/CD pipelines to support secure software development practices
• Contribute to a DevSecOps culture that emphasizes proactive risk management

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or similar roles
• Proven hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and automation tools
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices and tools
• Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with project management in Azure Boards

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Copado for Salesforce DevOps
• Prior work in the utility or energy industry
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NERC CIP or ISO 27001
