About the Role

Join a leading healthcare provider in Tallahassee, FL, and make an impact as an Orthopedic RN in the Med-Surg unit. In this role, you’ll provide compassionate, patient-centered care to orthopedic patients while managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–1:6. Key Responsibilities

✔️ Collect patient data, advocate for patient needs, and collaborate with the team.
✔️ Develop personalized care plans based on assessments.
✔️ Ensure patient safety and manage resources effectively.
✔️ Educate patients/families on medications, procedures, and treatments.
✔️ Work alongside physicians in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
✔️ Maintain a 1:5–1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio in orthopedic care.

Qualifications

🔹 Active RN License (Florida license required; compact licensure accepted – must apply for FL license).
🔹 1+ Year of RN Experience (acute care or LTAC experience preferred).
🔹 Current BLS Certification (ACLS preferred, required within 6 months).
🔹 BSN Preferred (ASN accepted).
🔹 Must live within a commutable distance of the facility.

Shift Details & Differentials

🔹 Shifts Available:

• Days (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
• Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.

🔹 Shift Differentials:

• Nights: $3.00/hour.
• Weekends: $2.00/hour.
