Job Requirements
- Oversee revenue recognition and accounts receivable, including invoice submission, disputes and cash collections
- Review international subsidiaries’ monthly financial reporting, and lead the consolidation & elimination process in NetSuite
- Prepare and manage technical accounting calculations, such as internal-use software capitalization & amortization
- Alongside the Controller, ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Assist in preparing technical accounting memos, documentation and support during the year-end audit
- Oversee the preparation, review and distribution of employee payroll in accordance with company policies & employment contracts
- Work closely with the FP&A team to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment between the company’s financial statements and forward-looking forecasts
- Manage a team of 2-4 direct reports by providing guidance, training and mentorship
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA Required)
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing direct reports
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting; experience with Dutch GAAP and/or IFRS is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and consolidation methodologies
- Familiarity with intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience within the logistics industry preferred
Compensation
- Salary Range: $130,000–$140,000
