This position serves as a Salesforce Lead Analyst for the Department of Innovation and Technology, performing professional applications functions in Salesforce System Administration. In this role you will perform assignments including configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the Salesforce platform. This individual will work closely with functional leaders and experts to identify and develop new business requests, translating those into Salesforce configuration support and best practices, establishing fields and field values, and maintaining data. Additionally, this role involves leading staff on releases from the vendor and communicating updates to internal team members and system users. Essential Functions
- Under immediate supervision, serves as Salesforce Lead Analyst for the Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT), performing complex professional and advisory Salesforce System Administration functions.
- Serves as a Project Lead.
- Serves as designated lead worker.
- Keeps abreast of new developments in the Information Technology field.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with coursework in computer science or directly related fields.
- Requires three (3) years of professional experience in Application Services or a directly related field.
Specialized Skills
- Requires three (3) years of professional experience supporting and maintaining the Salesforce platform.
- Requires three (3) years of professional experience in Salesforce Administration.
