DEPCOM Power is hiring a Director of Logistics Planning in Scottsdale, AZ.
This role is responsible for creating long-term value and competitive advantage through the strategic leadership of logistics planning, warehousing, transportation, inventory control, fleet and asset management, and harness manufacturing. It will apply Principle Based Management to develop people, improve decision quality, close execution gaps, and ensure resources are deployed where they create the greatest value for the business.
The role partners closely with Procurement, Construction, Project Controls, Finance, Field Operations, and Executive Leadership to support predictable, safe, and cost-competitive project execution. The Director of Logistics Planning is expected to challenge the status quo, build scalable systems, improve organizational capability, and strengthen logistics planning as a strategic advantage for the company.

What You Will Do
- Establish and communicate a long-term logistics Planning vision aligned with business strategy, project execution needs, and value creation.
- Lead warehousing, transportation, logistics planning, inventory control, fleet and asset management, and harness manufacturing.
- Drive upfront logistics planning and schedule alignment with procurement, construction, manufacturing, and project controls to support successful project execution.
- Develop scalable logistics planning systems, standards, and processes that improve material visibility, reliability, responsiveness, and cost competitiveness.
- Lead warehouse and inventory control strategies focused on material availability, inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and material accountability.
- Oversee transportation planning, carrier performance, freight optimization, mobilization, expedited shipments, and project site delivery performance.
- Own fleet and asset management strategy, including utilization, lifecycle planning, maintenance discipline, vendor relationships, replacement planning, and total cost of ownership.
- Support harness manufacturing operations through disciplined material planning, inventory governance, staging, kitting, and delivery alignment.
- Identify and close cross-functional gaps that create delays, excess cost, rework, poor handoffs, or execution risk.
- Use data, KPIs, root cause analysis, and frontline knowledge to drive sustainable corrective actions and continuous improvement.
