Job Description

As a Security Officer - Corporate Executive Driver in Foster City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading healthcare location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service. You will respond to calls for service, document activities, and communicate clearly while working with a team that values integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Allied Universal® is hiring a Executive Driver. The Executive Transportation Driver will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation services to executives and other high-level personnel. The Driver must have exceptional driving skills, a strong knowledge of local and regional routes, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely transport Client executives and other high-level personnel to and from various destinations, including airports, meetings, conferences, and other business-related events
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality while interacting with executives and their guests
  • Ensure the safety and security of passengers during transportation, strictly adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Plan and coordinate travel itineraries, taking into account traffic conditions, alternative routes, and potential delays
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle
  • Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other transportation-related data
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with luggage, opening doors, and addressing any special requests or needs.
  • Carry out other tasks as designated by the Transportation Manager
  • Accurately completes driver trip sheet for each shift with information including the driver, vehicle, number of passengers, pick-up and drop-off times, and destinations.
  • Play a key role in ensuring the security and safety of company leaders, directors, and guests
  • Maintain a detailed log of hours, routes, travelers, and trip
  • Oversee maintenance of the Executive's vehicle, including maintaining the vehicle in excellent working condition (e.g., regularly checking gas, oil, fluids, tires) and ensuring any needed repair or service
  • May be required to be on call beyond normal working hours, including weekends and overnight, to transport executives and visitors, as needed
  • Maintain knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues, and security technology, and updates management on risks and threats that could impact company business
  • Ensures reporting all potential service and maintenance problems to the Transportation Manager in a timely fashion and ensuring proper upkeep of the vehicle
  • Provide specific direction to subordinate staff and oversee quality of services pertaining to a contract security environment
  • Assist with Executive transportation confirmations, as needed
  • Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs and servicing as needed
  • Stay updated with local traffic conditions, road closures, and alternative routes to optimize travel efficiency
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, reflecting the values and image of Allied Universal and our customers

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with:
    • No major traffic violation in the past 36 months
    • No more than 1 at-fault accident in the past 24 months
    • No more than 1 moving or minor traffic violation in the past 24 months
    • Combination of the above
  • Minimum two (2) years of professional driving experience
  • Excellent knowledge of local and regional roads, traffic patterns, and alternative routes
  • Exceptional driving skills and a demonstrated commitment to safe
