As an Analytics Solutions Strategy Senior Associate within the Data and Analytics team, you will be the catalyst for insights that provide our business with a competitive edge and deliver value to our customers. Your responsibilities will include leading the daily operations and execution of the Consumer and Community Banking Data & Analytics organization, aiding in strategic decision-making, and overseeing cross-functional programs and initiatives. You will flourish in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, collaborating with a broad spectrum of internal stakeholders. This role calls for an innovative thinker with excellent judgment, robust analytical abilities, and a fervor for utilizing data to promote commercial outcomes.
The Data and Analytics team is the engine that powers Chase with insights that are used to create competitive advantages for our business, with an emphasis on creating value for our customers.
The team responsibly leverages data to build competitive advantages for our businesses with value and protection for customers. The team encompasses a variety of disciplines, from data governance and data strategy/partnerships to reporting, data science and machine learning, and are actively engaged in driving impact through sales and marketing transformation.
Job responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day management and execution of the CCB Data & Analytics organization
- Support the Chief Data & Analytics Officer in strategic decision making
- End-to-end management of cross functional programs, and other key initiatives
- Work as a creative thinker with superior judgment and executive presence
- Be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment that entails working with a wide range of internal stakeholders
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 3+ years of related experience: excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills; the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly to senior business leaders/stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; i.e., Computer Science, MIS, Economics, etc.
- Consulting orientation ability to influence both internal & external business partners. Very strong analytical skills as well as a strong commercial orientation and the proven ability to use analytics to drive commercial results
- Strong client engagement skills
- Demonstrate flexibility and creativity in your problem solving - you geek out about developing an elegant solution versus just solving a problem
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and keep numerous projects on track
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience communicating effectively with business and IT partners
- Consulting orientation with ability to influence both internal & external business partners; 2+ years at a management consulting firm preferred
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Self-starter with out-of-the box problem solving skills
- Have obtained a Certified Project Manager (CPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent certificate
