Job Description
The Sector Manager & Country Leader will act as head of the leadership team in France to drive and execute the country’s sales delivery in the designated end market sector. Work collaboratively with other end markets colleagues and functions within Country such as Operations, Engineering, Strategy, Services etc. Responsible for leading the country to drive and execute the country business plan to deliver Growth+ for Rotork while ensuring safe and legal operations.
Reporting to the Head of Sales Oil & Gas dotted line to Regional Director in this role you will be part of the team for the country sales forecasting, engagement, KPI’s and management of the P&L. You will Provide direct leadership across the sales support function, indirect leadership and partnership across the other end markets, Operations, Engineering, Services and support functions such as Finance, Legal, IT to ensure strong collaboration within the country and ensure appropriate decision making for the best of the country and wider Rotork vision.
Manage and coach all sector sales leaders, ensuring their readiness for sales actions and growth. Recruit and develop team members as appropriate, setting clear and measurable objectives and having performance conversations as required.
As Sector Manager & Country Leader, you will be directly prepared consolidated budget and growth plans for country within internal process and ensure the same for countries within area, working collaboratively across all end market sector mangers and services teams. This includes QPR and other submissions. Fulfil wider reporting responsibilities, including performance and sales plans, forecasting and other KPIs Lead across a matrix structure to build growth and strong, productive internal relationships that create benefit for multiple functions and the country.
Experience Requirements:
- Degree or similar recognized qualification in Engineering or Finance/Accounting
- Senior sales experience in manufacturing (industrial engineering ideal) and accompanying proven track record of success, likely gained from 5 to 7 years of experience
- Experience of leading others
- Knowledge and experience of sales techniques
- Ready to travel nationally and internationally as required
- Fluent English
