Job Summary
This position is responsible for performing research and assisting in analyzing financial and health data, including medical algorithms to determine health care expenditures, medical and economic outcomes, and cost containment strategies.Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
> Hybrid schedule: requires three days per week visibility in the posted HCSC office(s).

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors’ Degree and seven (7) years’ experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics including four (4) years’ experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data, including pharmacy

Ten (10) years’ experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics including four (4) years’ experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data, including pharmacy
* Recognized as an expert within HCSC
* Anticipates internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory issues; recommends process, product or service improvements
* Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business
* Contributes to the development of functional strategy
* Leads project teams to achieve milestones and objectives
* Progression to this level is typically restricted on the basis of business requirements
