Banquet Server

Description

The Banquet Server serves food and beverages to guests and events, completing prep work and clean up as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Preparing tables, serving stations, or buffet tables for service
• Running food from the kitchen to the tables
• Serving food and beverages to guests at their tables or at serving stations
• Creating a pleasant atmosphere for dining and entertainment
• Communicating with colleagues to ensure a smooth event
• Providing bar service to guests, including cash and credit services
• Cleaning up after events and aiding in inventory
• Maintains a positive attitude and adheres to the Cooper purpose and core values. 
• Follows all Cooper policies and standard operating procedures.
• Completes duties on site with consistent, regular, and reliable attendance. 
• Accomplishes other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrated experience in customer service
• Ability to read and interpret documents and good verbal communication skills.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
