IronMountain Solutions, Inc. (IMS) is seeking a Multi-Domain C3 Subject Matter Expert (SME) that will provide technical expertise for warfighting capability development, integration, and transition of new technologies that that close time-critical gaps in high-priority, multi-component warfighting missions.
Work location is in the Washington, DC area with opportunities for situational telework.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide subject-matter expertise to rapidly explore and prototype multi-domain command and control (C3) capabilities to synchronize data sharing and decision making for joint warfighting.
- Deliver technical assessments and analyses to provide recommended innovative approaches, technologies, and capabilities to close critical joint warfighting capability gaps.
- Provide technical expertise to inform mission engineering studies, prototype development, experimentation, and global integrated wargaming.
- Provide technical analysis and advice to help inform capability requirements development and validation through the JCIDS process.
- Collaborate with Service, Joint Staff, and OSD stakeholders to support the transition of technologies from prototypes and joint experimentation activities to Service programs of record.
- Prepare and deliver reports and briefings for senior DoD leadership and Congress.
Education and General Experience:
- Master of Science degree in engineering or a related technical field; or a certificate from intermediate Professional Military Education.
- At least 15 years of relevant technical work experience.
- Technical expertise in command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and targeting (C5ISRT) in one or more of the following areas: space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) or airborne ISR; Battle Management Command, Control and Communications (BMC3); Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC); Artificial Intelligence (AI); or Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT).
- Experience with complex systems analysis efforts for the DoD and/or the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Experiencing related to connecting sensors across Services to weapons platforms and shooters.
- Experience with threat kill chains and kill webs to analyze mission threads, develop system models, and conduct engineering trade studies.
Desired Experience:
- Self-starter, able to take initiative and operate independently.
- Ability to develop high-quality, professional briefings and written reports to succinctly capture technical concepts for senior DoD leadership and Congress.
- Familiarity with current Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control (CJADC3) and Joint Fires Network (JFN) efforts within the DoD.
Clearance Requirements:
- Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP).
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
