This is a remote position.

Contract: Independent Contract Schedule: 20h per week, flexible hours with occasional project-based deadlines and need for meetings based on GMT. Client Timezone:  GMT (Northern Ireland/UK)

Job Description You’ll play a pivotal role in transforming cutting-edge point cloud data into precise technical drawings and 3D models that directly impact client deliverables. This is your chance to establish best practices and quality standards while working with advanced surveying technology. You’ll start by proving your expertise on completed test projects before moving to live client work, giving you the foundation to build something meaningful from the ground up.

• Convert point cloud datasets into comprehensive BIM models using Revit
• Extract accurate 2D technical drawings including floor plans, elevations, and sections from point cloud data
• Create detailed 3D models in Revit environment from point cloud source material
• Establish and maintain consistent quality standards for all technical deliverables
• Collaborate with the surveying team to ensure drawings meet client presentation requirements
• Work initially on completed projects to demonstrate capabilities before transitioning to live client work
• Support the company’s expansion of technical drawing services to their existing client base
• Scale work complexity from residential projects to potential larger commercial developments

Requirements

• Proven experience with Revit software for BIM modeling and technical drafting
• Demonstrated expertise in point cloud data processing and conversion workflows
• Has 2D drafting skills with attention to precision and technical accuracy
• Portfolio showcasing previous point cloud to drawing/model conversion projects
• Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent quality standards
• Willingness to complete approximately 1-hour test assessment during selection process
• Bonus if you have experience with surveying or mapping industry projects
• It helps if you’ve worked with various project scales from residential to commercial buildings
