The Role
This leadership role will manage a team of 20-25 developers, business analysts, data engineers, scrum experts based in Westlake, Covington, Smithfield, New Jersey, and Bengaluru. The team is a healthy blend of VPs, directors, and junior associates. Operating in a team-based and agile environment, this role provides technical thought leadership, leads design and delivery of technical solutions. This leader will collaborate closely with business partners to understand priorities, evaluate new technologies and implements the most appropriate solution to achieve strategic objectives of scale & client satisfaction.
The Team
Fidelity operates one of the largest clearing and custody businesses in the industry with $4 Trillion in assets under administration serving thousands of intermediary clients including RIAs, broker dealers, banks, and family offices. The Client Experience Strategy & Enablement organization defines, influences, and delivers Client Service strategy. Crafting elegant ‘lightweight’ technology solutions using a variety of tools to quickly tackle business problems, lead Agile development resources that program client transition events, lead Quality sampling automation programs are activities this team will perform daily.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Broad technical knowledge in programming, data management, security, and cloud deployment, technical solution design.
Strong expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Strong database management experience and can mentor team on standard methodologies. Ability to analyze sophisticated SQL queries, experience in ETL design.
Proven consulting skills to build trust with customers and business partners.
Knowledgeable in process improvement and automation techniques.
Analytical approach with ability to gather and analyze business performance metrics.
Ability to influence across functional groups, including Operations, Product, Marketing, IT, Legal, Risk and Compliance.
Solid business judgement with a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
Strong people manager who can develop, coach, and empower highly skilled technologists.
FI / IWMS experience a plus.

How this Role Impacts the Organization
Provide TIMELY high-quality solutions that enhance scale & efficiency to CE Service & Operations associates and our clients! For IWMS to achieve its strategic goals, it is critical that we provide a support environment that is agile and efficient.
Design solutions using FI/IWMS approved technology stack with flexibility to choose tools and techniques applicable to each business problem.
Mentor and develop a distributed team.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$219,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
