The pay range per hour is $21.25 - $36.15

ALL ABOUT ASSETS PROTECTION  

Assets Protection (AP) teams function to keep our guests, team and brand secure and lead through crisis events. They protect profitable sales by mitigating shortage risks, preventing, theft and fraud to ensure product is available for our guest. They also build relationships inside and outside of Target including store leaders and public safety officials, inclusive of law enforcement. 

At Target, we believe in our leaders having meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for a career. The role of an Assets Protection Team Leader can provide you with the skills and experience of: 

  • Leading a security culture, including crisis response, a strong safety environment and crowd management planning, providing support to both guests and team members 

  • Implementing daily/weekly Assets Protection workload priorities to support business priorities and deliver on goals 

  • Responding to external and internal theft incidents and preventing future theft  

  • Implementing strategic resolutions of external theft and fraud and apprehending individuals attempting to cause a loss, in accordance with Target policy and leadership’s guidance 

  • Partnering, educating and supporting store business leaders on operational shortage priorities 

  • Leading a team of hourly team members; including leveraging skills in interviewing, developing, evaluating and retaining talent
