Position Summary:   

A server at Copper & Kings Rooftop Bar & Restaurant delivers a welcoming, fun, inclusive, and memorable guest experience to every guest.  

Responsibilities: 

• Maintains an uncompromised professionalism and composure at all times and all situations.  

• Shares a passion for Copper and Kings products and culture and provides extraordinary guest experiences with effortless suggestions and honest salesmanship.  

• Educates guests on Brandy, Gin, and Absinthe through detailed knowledge of Copper & Kings products and distillation process as well as extensive understanding of cocktails. 

• Educates guests in an honest way about the history of Butchertown, our Brandy, our love for music and our food.  

• Ensures guest expectations are being met by executing proper sequence of service, moving with purpose, confidence, and speed at all times.  

• Maintains the details of table and restaurant cleanliness in all areas of the building, throughout all hours.  

• Completes set-up, side work and closing tasks as assigned and/or directed in a timely manner. 

• Works closely with Lead Supervisor to ensure all tasks are being completed thoroughly, correctly, and efficiently during the shift. 

• Values the importance of internal hospitality and the necessary team environment this promotes. 

Minimum Qualifications 

• One to two years of experience in restaurant environment, preferably in a server or bartender role 

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed (must have a flexible schedule) 

• Effective communication skills and ability to maintain composure in high stress environment. 

• Commitment to deliver an outstanding customer service experience  

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience and Education in Craft Cocktails 

• General knowledge and enthusiasm for craft distilling and spirits 

• History in bartending and a desire for upward mobility and cross training
