The Department of the Army Intelligence Information Services (DAIIS) provides the Army Intelligence and Security Enterprise (AISE) and its Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational partners a means to discover, access, and share relevant intelligence reporting and information across unclassified, secret, top secret, and multinational fabrics. DAIIS delivers 24 x 7 solutions and services fulfilling requirements for intelligence information and data brokering, information sharing and dissemination, cross domain solutions, entitlements and access solutions, Intelligence Community / Defense Messaging, and intelligence production requirements management. Our team will provide Automation, Logistics, Requirements, and SharePoint site collection management support to DAIIS with software and application development, administration, and web services in support of DoD, the Intelligence Community and Coalition Partners. This includes system administration, database administration, web/software operation and maintenance, logistics support, and operations and sustainment support.
 
What is the position? 
The Senior Web Designer is responsible for designing and building web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools. Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements. Contributes to the design group’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization’s online offerings. Designs the website to support the organization’s strategies and goals relative to external communications. Requires understanding of web-based technologies and thorough knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or other design-related applications. *This position is contingent upon contract award*
 
What will I get to do?  
You will create and respond to internal ticket entries to track status of web design tasks within one hour after notification. You will create detailed deployment requests to facilitate the movement of completed projects to the production environment. You will perform HTML/ASPX website modifications to include links and graphic updates. You will develop and maintain a standardized brand for DAIIS, throughout the assigned network web sites in accordance with the DAIIS Style Guide. You will create custom HTML/ASPX pages for use within DAIIS hosted IIS and SharePoint site collections. You will establish discoverability by registering DAIIS sites with search engines. You will design images, icons, and banners to be utilized on DAIIS sites. You will provide web design support for integration into DAIIS SharePoint portals, Message Processing System (MPS), and other DAIIS developed applications. You will ensure DAIIS-hosted sites adhere to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. You will develop and incorporate mandatory fields of the DNI Audit.XML specification in accordance with ICS-500-27 Collection and Sharing of Audit Data.
 
What qualifications do I need? 
•    Bachelor’s Degree w/5+ yrs. or Associate Degree 7+ yrs. 
•    TS/SCI clearance with SBI and ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret clearance. 
•    Information Assurance Technical Level – Two (IAT-II).

What additional characteristics will help me thrive?  

•    Five years of web site design experience
•    Three years of experience in development of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SWL, graphics creation, etc. with Photoshop, Illustrator (Adobe Creative Suite) or similar multimedia creation tools
•    Three years of experience with several of the following: ASPX, PHP, DHTML JavaScript, XML, Internet Information Services (IIS) for Windows Server, Windows Server environments
•    Experience with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code
•    Web Design training certificate
