The opportunity
The College COACH summer internship is a paid program running from Monday, June 9-Friday, August 8, 2025. In addition to on-the-job training and work experience, the program includes workshops and additional development programs. College students will work 35 hours/week.
In the pulmonary clinic we see a variety of patients with different breathing issues and chronic illnesses. Our clinic is multidisciplinary so we have other specialists embedded in our clinic including dietitians, physical therapists, respiratory therapists, to name a few.
What you’ll do
Admin help: this position would help on the administrative side of our operation, and will help with QI projects to improve post go-live efficiency. Responsibilities include uploading fax pdfs into chart, tracking volume, etc
This role will give insight to various administrative tasks in a very busy clinic
This position is fully onsite
What you’ll get
Intern will have learned about clinic flow, interaction between providers (internal and external), insurances, pharmacies, and how various teams work together (admin, nursing, support staff such as PT, etc)
Who you are
You are an undergraduate college student interested working in healthcare
Intern should be reliable, professional, kind and sensitive to patient's needs (we have many patients on contact precautions). Once instructions are given, intern should be able to prioritize which tasks should be handled first.
