As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visibly present to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will communicate clearly, assist employees and visitors with professionalism, and respond to concerns with a calm, service-first approach. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, office areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, verifying credentials and/or authorization in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations, and complete timely written reports and incident documentation.
• Use site systems and communications tools to coordinate responses, including radios, phones, and/or access control platforms as assigned.
• Assist with de-escalation of conflicts and customer concerns, using a respectful, service-focused approach consistent with Allied Universal expectations.
• Support emergency and non-emergency procedures such as evacuations, severe weather response, and medical response, as directed by site-specific protocols.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions while maintaining a professional presence and adhering to post orders and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
