Bartender / Bar Lead

Job Title: Bar Lead

Reports to: General Manager and Assistant General Manager

Description:

• Prepares and serves alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Training other bartenders on all aspects of bar service
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendation
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Comply with all state regulations regarding serving of alcohol
• Ability to take and make sandwich orders when necessary

Requirements:

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing,
• garnishing, and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate

Competencies/Experience:

• 1 – 2 years of bartending experience
• Cash handling
• TIPS Certified
• Must be 21 years of age

Starting Wage: 

• Wages based on knowledge and prior experience starting at Denver minimum wage of $18.81
• This is a tipped position on top of hourly wages.
