Principal Systems Engineer (Hybrid Eligible)

Our digital receiver systems allow users to rapidly understand the signal environment. Systems are used for monitoring the RF spectrum, analyzing signals, and direction finding.

The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. Must-haves:
Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 14 or more years of relevant experience
Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Technical leadership of small multi-disciplinary design and development teams
Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
Advanced understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
Experience with lab test equipment to include signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers
Ability to generate and execute test procedures and document results
An active U.S. Security Secret Clearance
Preferred:
Experience with airborne RF signal collection and processing systems
Working knowledge of networking and Linux systems
Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, MATLAB, Python, Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
Advanced knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles.
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
Ability to establish and track key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
Progressive experience leading baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of high impact trade studies and other measures
Driven, self-motivated, work in a team environment
Ability to obtain U.S Top Secret Security Clearance is preferred
