Human Resources Intern

Description

As a HR Intern you will:

• Work with the HR leadership team to develop goals and projects

• Partner with the larger organization to understand colleague needs

• Gaining a wide array of experience by rotating through the different HR areas

A Day in the Life:

• HR Operations: Working with our HR Operations team members on a wide array of human resource tasks such as benefits administration, compensation, and employee relations

• Learning & Development: Joining forces with team members to help develop scalable and remarkable solutions to enable Navvis colleagues to learn and grow

• Recruiting: Collaborating with our Talent Acquisition team on project coordination regarding attracting, developing, and inspiring high-performance talent across the organization

• Orientation & Onboarding: Coordinating new hire orientation and onboarding training efforts

• Event Planning: Providing project coordination efforts for culture and engagement activities in a virtual and in-person environment

• HRIS: Working within our HRIS system; Organizing data entry efforts within our system and identifying opportunities for improvement (Paylocity)

• Innovation: Working with the HR leadership team to research and provide recommendations for future programs, benefits, structure, etc.

• Leaving a positive impact on the organization through the successful completion of projects

• Learning more about your professional goals as a future HR professional

Requirements

We are excited about you if you have these things:

• Recent graduate or Junior/Senior currently attaining Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business with focus on Human Resources, Human Capital, Organizational Leadership, or comparable study is required.

• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Proactivity and ability to work independently

• Proficient working in a multi-cultural environment

• Desire for continuous development and learning opportunities

• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
