Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employee

• Managing benefits-related compensation

• Calculate net salaries, ensuring accurate application of taxes, deductions, and withholdings

• Ensure accuracy and compliance of payroll calculations and tax reporting

• Maintain and update payroll records and general ledger accounts

• Prepare payroll-related accounting documentation, reports, and schedules

• Track and manage employee leave balances, including paid and unpaid leave

• Process overtime payments, bonuses, and statutory or ad hoc deductions

• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies (e.g., missed payments, incorrect calculations, holiday adjustments)

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and compensation

• Support internal and external payroll audits

• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and payroll policies

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Accountant or in a similar role

• Strong understanding of payroll processes and related activities

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel

• Good command of English and Russian (both written and spoken)

• Strong analytical skills

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

 

Nice to have:

• Experience working with 1C ERP system
