Base Pay Range: $72,583 - $102,402
The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons. Position Summary
In this role you’ll be an important link between our NPD (new product development) team and our supply chain by evaluating and selecting the suppliers for various manufactured mechanical parts. We’ll call on your strong project management skills to assemble data, identify problems and develop recommendations to support our supply chain staff and Operations management; you’ll also be involved with analytics for all our operations including manufacturing, quality, test and Applied Engineering. In this role you’ll help evaluate and select suppliers for various manufactured mechanical parts. Your involvement will be with both domestic and international suppliers, and this is a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities
- Search for, evaluate, and help qualify potential new suppliers capable of meeting technical, quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Issue RFQs, analyze supplier responses, and provide data-driven sourcing recommendations.
- Support early supplier involvement (ESI) during design phases to improve manufacturability and reduce development lead time.
- Establish, track, and maintain supplier performance metrics (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness).
- Monitor and report procurement risks, escalating issues to maintain project milestones.
- Help identify and drive cost-reduction opportunities and implement value-engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with R&D and Operations teams to address sourcing challenges, identify problems, and develop recommendations.
- Align sourcing decisions with long-term commodity strategies defined by the company.
- Plan and coordinate with NPD teams on new parts and volumes, ensuring alignment with product launch forecasts.
- Reduce procurement costs by implementing proper ordering and delivery parameters, considering landed cost analysis.

Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in sourcing or supply chain, preferably within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
