As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution facility.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location, following established security-related procedures.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with access-related inquiries and directions.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or unusual activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activities and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
