Senior Technical Writer

Avint LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing professional and informative documents designed for both technical and non-technical audiences. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our cybersecurity solutions, missions, and objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop professional, informative documents designed for both technical and non-technical audiences, in support of cybersecurity solutions, missions and objectives.
• Review Security Plan documentation for technical accuracy and completeness
• Review audit related implementation language for technical accuracy
• Ensure all requirements have been addressed in the audit implementation language

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Certification in Cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+).
• Experience working in a cybersecurity-focused role.
• Proficiency in using document creation tools and software.
• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience
• Minimum 4 years’ experience
• Proven experience in developing professional documents for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and terminology.
• Detail-oriented with excellent editing and proofreading skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and industry standards.
