Description

EventLink Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Design Project Manager to support the planning, design, and execution of build-out projects. This role serves as a liaison between internal teams, clients, and vendors, ensuring all project components align with client objectives and maintain design integrity throughout each phase.

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate internal resources to align available assets with project needs.
  • Review or draft build-out documentation to support accurate quoting and production.
  • Translate and interpret client goals to inform design decisions that stay within brand and program guidelines.
  • Assist the Build-Out Committee during installation phases to resolve on-site issues in collaboration with installers.
  • Communicate directly with vendors to revise or adapt designs as needed to preserve design intent during production.
  • Perform post-installation evaluations, including walkthroughs, punch list creation, verification of functionality, and documentation of final conditions with finish photos.
  • Oversee daily tasks related to installation and upfitting of projects.
  • Research and recommend new vendors as needed to expand production capabilities.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, both independently and in group settings.
  • Familiarity with power tools and general build-out/fabrication processes.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Effective time management and willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience
  • A CDL Class A license is a significant plus for occasional equipment transport needs.
