Senior IP Engineer

<p>Experienced professional in Transport IP &amp; Data support and maintenance, with proven seniority in IP Core and Aggregation technologies, including Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet. Holds CCNP/JNCIP-level or equivalent certifications and possesses extensive experience in Managed Services operations, specializing as an MS Specialist in Transport &amp; IP networks. Skilled in ensuring network reliability, performance optimization, and timely issue resolution.</p> <ul><li><p>Provide <strong>Transport IP &amp; Data support and maintenance</strong>, ensuring network reliability and performance.</p></li><li><p>Operate and maintain <strong>IP Core and Aggregation technologies</strong> (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).</p></li><li><p>Implement and troubleshoot <strong>network and routing protocols</strong>: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, MPLS-VPNs, QoS, Traffic Engineering.</p></li><li><p>Configure and manage <strong>network devices</strong>: routers, switches, remote access servers, VPN concentrators, firewalls.</p></li><li><p>Ensure <strong>network security</strong>, including IOS access lists, IPsec, PIX, IPS, CheckPoint FW-1, VPNs, and related security measures.</p></li><li><p>Monitor <strong>application protocols, network performance, and traffic</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Analyze and troubleshoot <strong>protocol-level issues</strong>: HTTP(S), SOAP, IPsec, DNS(SEC), RADIUS, Diameter, TCP/IP, MPLS, MSPTP.</p></li><li><p>Support <strong>Managed Services operations</strong>, including incident management and service coordination.</p></li><li><p>Communicate effectively with <strong>customers</strong>, providing updates and resolving incidents promptly.</p></li></ul> <ul><li><p>Bachelor or Master’s degree or equivalent level gained by experience, in Information Technology / Electronics / Telecommunications / Data communications Engineering</p></li><li><p>Relevant years of experience in the field of Transport IP &amp; Data support &amp; maintenance</p></li><li>Proven seniority in IP Core &amp; Aggregation technologies (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).</li><li><p>CCNP/JNCIP level or equivalent certification</p></li><li><p>Experience in Managed Services operations</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of mobile and ISP network architecture</p></li><li><p>Expert in several of the following technologies: Routers, switches and remote access servers, preferably  Juniper &amp; Cisco</p></li><li><p>Network and routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP , MPLS , MPLS-VPNs, QOS, Traffic Eng. etc.</p></li><li><p>Network security (IOS access lists, VPN Concentrators, Access Servers , PIX, IPS, CheckPoint FW-1, IP Sec etc.)</p></li><li><p>Application protocols, network and performance monitoring.</p></li><li><p>In dept knowledge of protocols (HTTP(S), SOAP,  IPSEC, DNS(SEC),  Radius, Diameter, TCP/IP, MPLS, MSPTP</p></li><li><p>Fortinet firewall knowledge is a plus</p></li><li><p>English language skills (good verbal and written)</p></li><li><p>Strong customer communication and incident coordination skills.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to perform 24x7 support via on-call up to 2 times a month</p></li></ul>
