What’s the role?

As the Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in building out the accounting function. You should have exceptional operational accounting skills, expertise in establishing scalable processes, and the ability to balance complex cross-functional initiatives.

 

In this role, you will… 

• Play a key role in our month-end close process, implementing best practices and improvements
• Supporting corporate tax initiatives
• Oversee the execution of proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Lead and drive monthly balance sheet reconciliation reviews
• Drive the annual audit process
• Lead and manage all aspects of payroll and accruals processes
• Support Accounting leadership in cross-functional projects and the enforcement of policies and procedures that impact financial statement close
• Supporting finance/accounting system implementations

 

In terms of qualifications, we’re seeking:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, including experience in a management role
• Experience with Accounting Software, Quickbooks Online, and NetSuite is a plus
• Strong, comprehensive understanding of US GAAP
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• An expert in multi-tasking when it comes to managing several high-priority projects simultaneously and time management skills
• Experience navigating unstructured environments, early-stage startups are a plus
• Detail-oriented and analytical, producing high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
• CPA license a plus
