A Day in the Life
As the Business Process Program Manager, you will play a critical role in advancing gross margin optimization across our organization. This role is responsible for deploying effective business processes and directly managing cross-functional collaboration to drive strategic initiatives that deliver gross margin targets. You will partner closely with Portfolio Margin Leaders and Operating Units (OUs) to align business strategies, identify margin improvement opportunities, and ensure project execution with excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and deployment of business processes that support gross margin improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize and progress a portfolio of gross margin opportunities.
Serve as the point of contact for Operating Units (OUs), ensuring effective communication and alignment.
Provide strategic insights and influence decision-making around key gross margin levers.
Monitor progress across initiatives, navigate risks, manage milestones, and provide status reporting to leadership.
Partner with Portfolio Margin Leaders to ensure alignment with broader business strategies and margin objectives.
Oversee operational aspects of programs including planning, execution, issue resolution, and performance measurement.
Develop and implement mechanisms for tracking project performance and proactively address barriers to success.
Must Haves:
Bachelor’s degree AND minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR
Advanced degree with 3 years relevant experience
Nice to Have:
Experience leading business process improvement in manufacturing, supply chain, or commercial operations
Prior involvement with gross margin improvement initiatives
Understanding of portfolio and program management methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills
Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and drive alignment in a matrixed environment
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks
PMP or similar certification
