ATI is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join us at our Millersburg, OR facility. This is an onsite position. The Business Systems Analyst is primarily responsible for report building, data integrity and auditing. This role is crucial to helping the business solve problems through data and will provide recommendations to the business based on data. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading small projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions.
- Convert data into useful information through OBIEE or ODBC reports.
- Collaborate with other team members and Departments; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results
- Providing insight to the business through analysis of data to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, planning and Value Stream teams
- Consult with business users, process owners to analyze and understand current and future requirements, objectives, desired features, input and output requirements
- Creating, maintaining, and supporting reference documents to support end users
- Manage internal customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results
- Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and supplier relationships
- Developing and executing report automation strategies
- Contributing to complex and time-critical projects for team leaders by quickly understanding context and developing a prioritized approach for resolution
- Developing data entry, process, and audit standards to ensure accurate data exits within the ERP system
- Providing formal and informal education and training to diverse groups of users
- Testing critical changes to our Oracle ERP database
- Supporting data governance team and initiatives
- Using and promoting continuous improvement systems and thinking in everyday work
- Assists users in extracting data from current system and runs ad hoc reports
- Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT (DT – Digital Technology) to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement and implementations
- Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1 year of work experience or internship in an analytical data analyst role (4 years of Oracle experience may substitute for lack of analyst role experience).
- In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree, an Associate’s Degree with 4 years of experience working with large data sets.
- Proven proficiency in Excel; Spreadsheet formulas
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years experience in an analytical data analyst role.
- Experience with OBI (Oracle Business Intelligence) highly preferred.
- Power BI experience preferred.
- Experience handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
- Oracle applications experience a plus, with emphasis in OPM: Oracle Process Manufacturing.

- Strong techno-functional skill set, i.e. strong business acumen, ability to understand business processes, elicit business requirements and translate into Oracle language.<
