Senior Expansion Manager, Belgium

We’re looking for a Senior Expansion Manager to help us find and secure top-tier charging locations, strengthening Fastned’s position as the go-to charging provider in Belgium and Europe! 

Your Role

As a Senior Expansion Manager,  you’ll focus on securing prime real estate in high-traffic areas, ensuring our stations are visible, accessible, and built for long-term success. You’ll work closely with landowners, developers, and retailers to forge strategic partnerships, helping Fastned solidify its position as the leading charging network in the region.

To secure the best locations, we expect you to implement a strong network development plan. You will be responsible for shaping your own network and expansion efforts, and for thinking strategically on how you approach the various stakeholders in and outside of your network.

Working as part of a dynamic, international team, you’ll also help streamline processes to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. You'll become an expert in the future of e-mobility and charging infrastructure, collaborating with subject matter experts to sharpen your knowledge and lead negotiations with confidence.

Don't worry, your onboarding will include "masterclasses" on e-mobility and fast-charging, so you'll be ready to hit the ground running and shape the future of mobility by bringing essential charging infrastructure to key locations.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a senior professional who brings a strong sense of ownership, professional maturity, and autonomy to the role. You are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and are able to drive business growth through critical thinking and proactive engagement. You will play a key role in shaping and expanding Fastned’s presence in Belgium, particularly within the Flemish and/or Walloon markets. We value diverse backgrounds and encourage candidates with a variety of experiences to apply. Ideally, you bring: 

• At least 5 years of relevant commercial experience, preferably in real estate, site acquisition, or a related field.

• A proven track record of independently managing projects or portfolios, demonstrating sound judgment and professionalism.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• A commercial mindset and solid understanding of financial concepts, or the motivation to further develop these skills.

• Fluency in French and English; proficiency in Dutch is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with the Belgian market, with experience in either Flanders and/or Wallonia.

• A proactive, solution-oriented approach and the ability to identify and seize new business opportunities.

• Willingness to travel regularly across Belgium to scout locations and connect with partners.

• A collaborative spirit and eagerness to contribute to a learning environment.

• A strong motivation to accelerate the energy transition and make a positive impact.
