Senior Application Engineer - Digital Workplace

We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Engineer to join Spotify’s Productivity Engineering group, the team responsible for advancing the digital workplace at Spotify. As a Senior Application Engineer you will advance Spotify’s leadership in the SaaSOps domain, managing the core applications for productivity, communication and collaboration used across Spotify. You will have the opportunity not only to work with new and interesting productivity technologies but also to influence our SaaS providers on everything from the features they offer to how they secure, manage, and scale their applications.

What You'll Do

• Scale applications to support dynamic teams in a fast-paced, flexible environment
• Identify and drive initiatives through automation and integrations
• Partner with business collaborators and customers to assess dynamic business and support processes to implement, configure and optimize SaaS application usage
• Perform SaaS application risk assessments and develop risk maps to ensure users and data are protected
• Take the lead in assessing and selecting new technologies and integrations, including product enhancement and product upgrades

Who You Are

• Experienced using DevOps practices to managing applications in the IaaS and PaaS environment and SaaSOps practices to manage and integrate SaaS applications
• Expertise and experience improving the performance, usability, and integration of productivity tools such as the Atlassian suite, G Suite and Slack
• You embrace agile development practices and methodologies
• Passionate about creating efficiency and ease-of-use for your customers
• Deep familiarity with concepts like SSO, Zero Trust, and certificates and care ensuring compliance and security while creating a great end user experience
• Proficient in multiple software languages (e.g., Python, Java, Javascript) and comfortable defining, publishing, and integrating with systems via APIs and asynchronous data exchange

The United States base range for this position is USD160000- USD223000, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays.”
