Position Overview
The Product Manager will lead, own and drive the evolution of market-leading solutions within the Modern Governance ecosystem. You will gain an in-depth knowledge of customers’ needs, the business domain, and corporate strategy to ensure the product evolves to deliver on all these fronts. As Product Manager, you will develop relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams in order to define the product vision, identify and work through dependencies with other products, and actively solicit feedback on your products and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the product(s) roadmap, prioritization of activities, and determining scope and effort with the development team. Serve as the leader of a cross-functional team of developers, UX designers, and stakeholders in Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing
• Detailed understanding of functional capabilities and limitations, user scenarios, and business value derived for a product(s) and how they intersect with other Diligent products and 3rd-party products
• Delivery of high quality and on-time user experiences on multiple platforms (Mobile, Web, Desktop), for multiple products, for users in multiple levels of the corporate hierarchy
• Responsible for creating and maintaining a prioritized backlog of user stories with clearly written user stories that are detailed, measurable, and testable. Fulfill the obligations of a Scrum Product Owner by attending required ceremonies and working with technical and UX leads on the team
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the business domain, applying problem solving skills to address critical and complex issues to ensure the product evolves in light with the organizational strategy
• Responsible for the ongoing tracking of product performance, user engagement, and outcomes measurement
• Continuously strive to identify opportunities to expand and enhance the product base and vision

Required Experience/Skills:

• 4+ years’ experience in a product management role, including predominantly SaaS product experience in more recent years
• Successful track record in building B2B, SaaS products within innovative, growth-oriented companies
• Experience with Agile product development and SCRUM methodologies
• Experience integrating with multiple products in advantageous
• Alignment with Diligent’s culture and values which fosters collaboration, innovation, creative thinking and leadership
• Collaborative and business-oriented approach and ability to build strong relationships and influence at senior management levels of the organization
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
