Associate Director, Solutions Architect, Product Owner

The Opportunity

You will report into the Director, Head of AI Platforms. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a GenAI Solution Architect / Product Owner. In this dual role, you will take charge of both custom and out-of-the-box Generative AI solutions, driving innovation and ensuring understanding of business objectives. You will help shape the architecture and functionality of our GenAI solutions, contributing to our success in the evolving field of artificial intelligence.

The Role

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Solution Architecture:

• Collaborate with partners to understand our goals and translate them into strategic plans for a spectrum of GenAI solutions, including functional experiments, Proof of Concepts, and Minimum Viable Products.
• Architect scalable and fit-for-purpose GenAI solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices.

Product Ownership:

• Take ownership of a range of GenAI solutions, considering the varying needs for developing experiments, proofs of concept, and minimum viable products (designed for scalability).
• Define product features, prioritize development efforts, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

Partner Engagement:

• Work with all partners to gather requirements, understand user needs, and tailor GenAI solutions accordingly.
• Foster relationships with end-users to capture feedback and improvements.

Technical Management and Evaluation:

• Provide technical direction and guidance to development teams working on custom GenAI solutions.
• Collaborate with integration resources to evaluate and select third-party GenAI products, ensuring compatibility and understanding of solution requirements.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

• Implement monitoring mechanisms in collaboration with the GenAI platform owner to track the performance of GenAI solutions.
• Analyze metrics and work with development teams to enhance solution efficiency.

Budget and Resource Management:

• Manage the budget for GenAI solution development, considering the diverse nature of solutions and allocating resources.

Vendor Collaboration:

• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate off-the-shelf GenAI solutions, ensuring understanding of organizational goals.
• Work with the integration team to facilitate seamless integration of selected third-party solutions.

Compliance and Security:

• Ensure that GenAI solutions adhere to relevant compliance standards and security protocols.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement necessary measures.

Your Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in solution architecture and product ownership, with a focus on Generative AI technologies.
• Understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and AI model deployment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and manage product lifecycles.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and security standards.

Salary Range

The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $180,000 - $220,000. Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting. Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary, total compensation for this role may also include incentive compensation and equity.
