The Production Manager provides effective leadership and coordination for assigned production supervisors and operations. This role involves upholding plant policies and procedures while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards. The manager develops and reports on safety, quality, and production information related to their areas of responsibility. Additionally, they acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of business operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the production facility.
- Coordinate operations and implement strategies for safety, sanitation, productivity, and cost savings.
- Enhance asset intensity by minimizing unplanned stops, speed loss, waste, and optimizing planned downtime.
- Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) aligned with Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) by identifying root causes of issues and recommending solutions.
- Conduct post-installation analysis for new technology and capital equipment.
- Ensure finished products are manufactured on time, compliant with standards, and meet consumer expectations through employee coaching.
- Train employees on safety expectations, including behavioral safety observations, workplace exams, and safety meetings.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: 3+ years’ experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing, production, warehouse, military, or related environment
- Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal and written directions, signs, policies and procedures.
The approximate pay range for this position is $95,000.00 to $140,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
