Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Senior Technology Disaster Recovery Program Analyst to join our team in the United States!
We are looking for someone who has a passion for technology disaster recovery and who will assist in enhancing and maturing the Global Technology Disaster Recovery Program.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of consistent disaster recovery (DR) support and services with an emphasis on best practices and increasing levels of maturity.
- Assist in the evaluation oof new technologies to solve business challenges in the technology disaster recovery program and help ensure environments remain current.
- Create and report ongoing metrics related to the disaster recovery program.
- Maintain and enhance the Technology Disaster Recovery Program’s Confluence page.
- Perform periodic reviews to confirm or update Disaster Recovery requirements for all Broadridge Tier 1 and 2 applications, perform application impact analyses
- Conduct regular testing and simulations to validate the effectiveness of disaster recovery plans.
- Analyze industry, technology, and market trends to stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in infrastructure and resiliency engineering and disaster recovery.
- Analyze the current business and IT disaster recovery environments to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement.
- Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure effective disaster recovery solutions.
- Aid in the development and execution of the overall strategy and program related to disaster recovery procedures and controls, enabling technology disaster recovery and, sound disaster recovery practices, to help ensure that Broadridge can resume full operations in the event of a disaster.
- Coordinate and assist in the development of application disaster recovery plans and runbooks.
- Partner with IT and business stakeholders to evangelize and drive resilient application architecture design, particularly in cloud native/modern systems.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of continuous experience in technical disaster recovery program management
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- Willingness to obtain professional certification in Disaster Recovery Planning if not already obtained.
- Must be willing to work occasional weekends and off-hours in the support of actual or simulated disaster recovery events.
- Ability to build strong insightful relationships quickly; must have top-notch communication skills (oral and written); must be able to network effectively at all levels but especially at the executive and business partner level.
- Familiarity with Disaster Recovery Planning tools (BCIC, EBRP, FusionRM) and reporting tools such as PowerBI and Smart sheets,
- Demonstrated “body of knowledge” regarding industry best practices and ability to stay current.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting a Disaster Recovery program.
- Strong initiative, with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment with little supervision or guidance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities with strict deadlines.
- Good Project Management Skills
- Familiarity with IT systems, including endpoints, servers, networking, data storage, and cloud services, is essential. Experience with relevant technologies, including backup solutions, virtualization, and cloud resiliency methods, is desired.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as SOC1, SOC2, FFIEC guidelines, NIST SP 800-34, and ITIL.
- Analytical skills and ability to process and break down data into actionable information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and capable of presenting to influential audiences.
- Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences and tailor communications appropriately.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and with tight deadlines.
Salary Range: $130,000 to $140,000 Annual
