The Role at a Glance
As the Director, Business Effectiveness Product & Platform, you will provide leadership and direction to develop and drive the implementation of future state goals & objectives with proven, standardized project/program management tools, practices, and methodologies. You will provide subject matter expertise to the function leaders around maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization and service delivery model. You will also oversee core program management efforts at the domain level and oversee accountability across the execution teams.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinates input from leaders across their assigned business area to manage the project portfolio and facilitate integration & alignment of various projects with the overall business unit plan & initiatives
- Forecasts and plans resource requirements, financial reporting, and budgeting for specific initiatives; collaborates with leaders across functional areas to secure and manage resources necessary to maintain a continuous flow of projects
- Drives & provides direction & mentoring on complex projects and/or programs to ensure group results
- Proactively anticipates and provides solutions to complex project/program management issues or conflicts; engages senior leadership and other key stakeholders to evaluate issues, drive resolution, and enable successful outcomes
- Promotes communication and alignment across business, enablement, and technology teams to ensure delivery progression towards strategic objectives
- Drives accountability across the portfolios to achieve committed objectives (OKRs) within established timeframes and established capacity/budget
- Manages complex domain-level and portfolio-level risks, issues, and dependencies, mitigating and quickly escalating to the appropriate stakeholders as needed
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- 7+ Years experience in program/project management and/or working on transformation initiatives aligned to the responsibilities
- 3+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or leadership experience
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
- Proven ability to find common ground and gain collaboration among senior management, colleagues and peers; can influence outcomes without directing or commanding
- Demonstrated ability to successfully hire, retain, develop and coach staff via a culture of real-time performance feedback, with ability to build both technical and leadership skills
- Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. senior management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop creative and collaborative approaches
- Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines
