As an Associate Media Planner at Fingerpaint, you will be a vital member of our media team, responsible for developing and managing comprehensive media campaigns that align with client goals. Your role involves gathering audience and category insights from research tools and requesting program proposals from media publishers and platforms to develop strategic media recommendations, and the day-to-day management of programs in-market, including tracking delivery of budget and media metrics and optimizing to meet and exceed campaign goals. You will gain a deep understanding of media programs, creative strategies, and media analytics, and become a subject matter expert for your respective campaign(s).   This role is primarily remote, but will require travel to our Cedar Knolls, New Jersey office a few times per month. Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Manage administrative and executional efforts, including status reports, traffic sheets, financials, planning/buying assistance, campaign management, and relationship building internally and with external partners. 
  • Develop knowledge of media research tools (audience insights, competitive creative/spend), online and offline media channel landscape, and assigned brands and category 
  • Support media planning efforts by requesting proposals for assigned media campaigns from media vendors, managing vendor responses, conducting audience research  
  • Develop spec sheets based on approved media programs, manage the creative tracker to ensure all assets are accurately accounted for, and complete digital ad trafficking requests and QA processes for in-market campaigns 
  • Understand how media capability fits within the agency's overall job flow and demonstrate competency in media math, financial terminology, and media buying terms and conditions. 
  • Demonstrate competency in media math, financial terminology, and media buying terms and conditions. 
  • Establish and maintain relationships with media vendors, serving as the main point of contact for media planning, campaign performance, and financial management. 
  • Communicate regularly with internal counterparts across capabilities, such as digital strategy, project management, account, creative, to share spec sheets, media plan details, project status updates, etc. 
  Job Requirements:  
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing and/or media landscape. 
  • Desire to learn pharmaceutical brands (and category), media channels, and media planning/buying processes. 
  • Team player, willing to build relationships with internal and external counterparts  
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.  
  • Ability to understand and interpret performance data to support insights and optimization strategies. 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to effectively review campaign and budget docume
