Job Purpose and Impact

The SAP on Cloud Delivery and Operations Lead will independently analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified information technology solutions for the entire organization. As a delivery and operations lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery and ongoing operations of SAP solutions hosted on cloud platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the migration, deployment, maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems on the cloud.

Key Accountabilities

• Independently coordinate partnering, cross functional collaboration across information technology teams and ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security of SAP systems on the cloud.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP applications on cloud platforms, ensuring successful implementation, migration, and ongoing support by establishing and maintaining best practices for the operational management of SAP on Cloud.
• Independently lead, guide, and advise on the purchase, design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP solutions hosted on cloud platforms.
• Manage day-to-day operations of SAP systems on the cloud, by working closely with cloud service providers and third-party vendors to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Implement short and long-term SAP solutions hosted on the cloud, that meet the needs of the organization.
• Manage the budget for SAP on Cloud operations, optimizing costs while ensuring high-quality services.
• Develop and implement SAP on Cloud strategy and work with enterprise architecture to develop future technology architecture and SAP systems solutions on cloud.
• Provide expert thought leadership in SAP solutions hosted on cloud platforms and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
• Minimum of six years of related work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in SAP delivery and operations, with a focus on cloud-based solutions
• Strong expertise in cloud technologies (Azure) and cloud-native SAP solutions
• Proven experience in SAP implementation, administration, and operations
• Strong understanding of cloud security, scalability, and cost management best practices
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the proven experience in leading and mentoring technical teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder, and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies

• Compensation
  • The expected salary for this position is $157 - 175K. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
