This position will support our Community Schools family engagement and outreach work in Rancho Cordova. The person should have experience engaging in diverse communities, be detail-oriented, and be equity-focused. Diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.
This role will work in tandem with the Community Schools Coordinator to organize and run family events (E.g., Sports Physical Clinics, Kids Day in the Park, Holiday Cuts and Styles for Kids, etc.). This candidate will work some evenings, and weekend events alongside the Community Schools team.
When schools partner with families to build strong relationships, ensure effective communication, and offer support and resources on their campus, families are more likely to be engaged, empowered, and advocates for their children.
